They helped Trump get elected and now they help the right wing rule
How MeidasTouch Network, Adam Mockler, Ron Filipkowski, Ben Meiselas, Brian Tyler Cohen, David Pakman, and the rest of the Fake Left help Trump, Project 2025, Elon Musk, and the rest of the right wing.

I seldom appear on camera in my YouTube videos because as you can see, I have a face made for radio. But I’m going to put my face on here because I want to counter some of the talking heads out there. They are certainly no less physically ugly than me, but what is far more important than physical appearance is substance.
I’m a philosopher. I’m a professor. I think and talk about substance, and I write about substance. So I want to talk about people who don’t, specifically in response to a group of people on YouTube that I call the Fake Left.
They aren’t the only ones in the Fake Left. I’ve written about the Fake Left in my two recent books, Left Wing, Right Wing, People and Power and Why Trump?
The particular Fake Left people that I’m thinking about are the people who made tons and tons and tons of videos about how awful Trump is.
Trump is really stupid. Trump is really awful. Trump is really horrible. Trump is really an idiot. Trump is really insane. blah blah blah blah blah . . .
I’m thinking about people like Meidas Touch, Adam Mockler, Jack Cocherella, Brian Tyler Cohen, and various others, Rebel HQ, Occupy Democrats. There’s like a cloning factory out there where they basically make the same video over and over and over again, which is mostly just some guy who is talking about how awful Trump is.
Is Trump awful? Yes, of course.
Guess what? Meidas Touch, Adam Mockler, Jack Cociarella, Rebel HQ, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera — All of your videos, didn’t subtract a single vote for Trump, and they didn’t add a single vote for Harris.
You didn’t help defeat the right wing.
You didn’t help defeat Project 2025.
You didn’t help to defeat MAGA.
All you offered was red meat for the already converted, outrage porn.
That’s all it was. You didn’t offer a single bit of substance, didn’t offer a single solution to Project 2025 and the right-wing takeover of America. You were only interested in making money off of silly sensationalism in that they were and are no better than Trump and Project 2025 and MAGA and Elon Musk and all those others.
I mean, let’s take a look here. If you look at Meidas Touch’s YouTube page . . . Always the big yellow letters. I don’t know what it is about the big yellow letters.
Fox is losing it.

That’s just today. Meidas Touch have done one, two, three, four, five, six videos already today and the day is young.
And what?
What is the point in this?

You have been saying these same things for years. When will you understand that doesn’t work?
There’s a reason why it doesn’t work. Because it’s not activism. It’s outrage porn. It’s a mirror image, an almost exact copy of what you’ll find on Parler and Truth Social and America’s Best or America’s Voice or whatever the heck it is, Newsmax, all those right-wing things.
It’s just flipping the script. It’s a mirror image. It’s outrage porn.
America and the world doesn’t need big yellow letters, yellow journalism. It doesn’t need sensationalist tabloid headlines. It doesn’t need tabloids. It needs an alternative. None of these Fake Keft purveyors, these tabloid yellow journalists, are alternatives. They’re just more of the same.
And the reason why Trump won the election is for a variety of reasons. They’re calling him a racist and saying, oh, he’s a terrible human being. Well, people know that. People understand that.
Guess what? A whole chunk of Americans voted for that. They want an idiot. They want someone who just says the same things that they feel inside.
The main reason Trump won is simple. And I wrote about this in my book. Trump says he hates the same people they hate. A right winger will vote for anyone, even a monkey clanging cymbals, if that monkey says they hate the same people they hate. That’s how it works.
The rest of America, which thankfully is the majority of Americans, they aren’t that simple. They aren’t that completely twisted in their MAGA right wing reactionist hate. The rest of America wants an alternative. They want a party, a people, anybody who is willing to provide an alternative.
There are people out there who are doing that, who are trying to build a better world, trying to build a better society, trying to lift people up. But you won’t hear about them as much. They don’t have, what is it? What’s Meidas’s Touch? Four million subscribers. Four million subscribers to this garbage.
Fox News in total panic.
What’s their most popular video here? “Creepy Trump” from four years ago. So you’ve been doing this for at least four years, and you still haven’t figured out, Meidas Touch, this doesn’t work. Nobody cares. Oh, except for the 3.7 million viewers that just wanted to watch outrage porn.
And that’s what you’re more interested in, isn’t it? The money that comes from views.

Meidas Touch, you offer outrage porn to outrage porn addicts. But you don’t provide a solution. You don’t provide an alternative. It’s just the same old garbage.
What’s the point?
In my books, I define the Fake Left as people and organizations that do not advance positive left-wing principles, but instead are completely fixated and obsessed with their hatred of the right wing.
I don’t blame anyone for hating right wingers. I don’t blame anyone for hating Trump and Elon Musk and all of that. I understand that. But if that’s all you have, if that’s all you offer, you’re not leftist. You’re not progressive. You’re not left wing. You provide nothing of value.
There are people out there who are trying to build a better society. There are people out there. They’re trying to lift up Americans. No, they don’t have 4 million views and 4 million subscribers on YouTube. There are idiots who throw themselves at walls, who do outrageous, stupid things like eating bugs and whatnot on YouTube. They get millions of views too. Is that all you aspire to? Seriously?
These people who are actually trying to do something, I’m thinking of people like Common Dreams, great publication, look it up, Common Dreams. Look up Barn Raiser. A publication that is actually reaching out to Americans, trying to lift them up, trying to create a real movement, not just go, oh, somebody said something stupid online.
Am I ranting? Yeah, I suppose I’m ranting. It’s because I care. It’s because I can see what’s really going on. And one of the things that’s really going on is all of these people both within the Democratic Party establishment and all these satellite organizations selling outrage porn. They spent years and years and years mocking Trump, offering nothing but mocking Trump and investing everything into, “oh, well, if we just get enough people to hate Trump and think he’s an idiot, they won’t vote for him.” And it didn’t work.
And I could forgive all these people on the Fake Left, if they had awakened at some point in mid-November and realized, “hey, that strategy didn’t work, let’s try something else.” But no, no.

It’s like, Adam, this is the same garbage you’ve been putting out there for years. What is the point of what you’re doing? So you put yourself on camera, you yell into a microphone about how awful Elon and Trump is. Never worked. Never could have worked. Never will work. But hey, you got your views. You got your ad revenue. Your big yellow letters. Maybe it makes yourself feel good. I don’t know. Not there to judge.
It isn’t helping America. It’s not stopping the real issue here. In general, I think it’s too bad that most Americans prefer facile nonsense, superficial crap to real substance. Yeah, that’s a problem. That’s a general, it’s a human thing. And you’re falling into that human thing.
And I know you don’t care, but maybe somebody else out there does. Maybe, just maybe, someone will say, “Hey, yeah, you know what? That’s right. That’s just outrage porn. It’s just copying what the right wing does. It’s not helping anything. Maybe we need to do something else.”
There are other options out there.
I write and talk about solutions. I talk about causes, not symptoms. I’m not the only one. And no, I don’t have millions of views. Why? Because I don’t descend into the garbage. I don’t pander to outrage porn.
That’s fine. It’s not a badge of honor.
It’s not a piece of shame.
It’s just a fact.
Common Dreams, Barn Raiser, In These Times, and I’m sorry, I know there are many other real true progressive publications and video outlets out there, and I should name them all, but I’m sorry. You exist.
Let me know you exist. Let’s talk. Let’s work together.
These yellow journalists, these Fake Left fools, forget about them.
They are helping Trump.

Meidas Touch is helping Trump.
Jack Cochirella is helping Trump.
Rebel HQ is helping Trump.
Maybe they don’t mean to, but they are.
All these Fake Left talking heads and yellow journalists like Meidas Touch are helping the right wing in their takeover of the United States. It’s Project 2025, it’s corporatism.
Mocking Trump isn’t gonna do a damn thing because it was not about Trump. It was never about Trump. And I know you’ll never read my book, Why Trump? which explains all of this because it’s not outrage. It’s not sound bites. It’s not something you can put in four big yellow words on a screen. So you’re not interested.
That’s fine.
Maybe somebody else is. willing to help other people instead of just making money off of them.
